IWPG has been uniting with women around the world to bring peace and encourage the involvement of women in peace processes. Currently 660 organizations from 60 countries are supporting IWPG’s cause, building a strong network in the local communities and providing IWPG Peace Education to bring an end to war and spread a culture of peace.  

This forum, under the theme of “Solidarity of Women: Mitigating Gender Inequality through Peace,” was an opportunity to discuss the relationship between peace and gender equality and the vital role women can play to achieve world peace. Women leaders from around the world joined together to build a better future.
